SAHARA THREADLINE REELS

The three reels in the new Shimano Sahara range make ideal estuary, river and impoundment threadlines, are reasonably priced, and come loaded with top-of-the-line features.

Four of Shimano's A-RB (anti-rust) bearings keep everything turning smoothly, while DynaBalance removes any torque wobble when winding and Fluidrive helps maintain a smooth, powerful retrieve.

Super Stopper 11 eliminates any backplay in the winding mechanism, and a Power Roller on the newly designed rotor keeps line friction to a minimum.

Sahara reels are ambidextrous and come with a spare metal spool, so it's possible to fish another line class or even gel spun line off the same reel.

The 1500 FB and 2500 FB have sparkling retrieve speeds of 6:1, while the 4000 FB is rated at 6.2:1 - marking it as a top notch light tackle tuna spinning reel.

And like all reels in the Shimano lineup, the Sahara threadline reel range is covered by an unprecedented ten year warranty.
