SHIMANO RAIDER RODS
Shimano Raider rods are our flagship rod range for the 2003/2004 season.
Developed by noted Australian rod builder, Ian Miller, they represent
the cutting edge in rod technology and design.
Built on high performance copper coloured blanks with brown binding and
copper trim, the rods feature Fuji reel seats, Alconite guides and fine
density cork grips.
There are four spin rods available, and all are designed for finesse
fishing with small, hardbodied lures, spinnerbaits and Squidgies in a
variety of weights and sizes in both salt and freshwater environments.
There are also two-piece versions for travelling anglers and these rods
are so beautifully designed that performance-wise it is almost impossible
to tell them apart from one-piece models.
The five baitcasters in the new Shimano Raider lineup are designed to
cover the gamut of trolling and casting, from fishing micro lures for
bass through to dragging deep divers around snags in the Top End. Four
of the rods are one piece construction, while the Barra Mauler is designed
as a two piece travel rod.

TIAGRA GAME RODS
When you've got the best game fishing reels in the world, you need a
range of rods to match them and that's what you get with the new Tiagra
game rod series.
Designed by the Australian Rod Builder, Ian Miller, Tiagra game rods
are built on Shimano's revolutionary TCurve Hi Power Graphite blanks and
are stronger, lighter and more responsive than any other game fishing
rods on the market.
There are eight rods in the range covering line classes from six to 60
kilos, and the componentry is first class. The six-kilo rod features Fuji
fixed guides, the eight-kilo lightweight Aftcos, and the rest of the range
standard Aftco roller guides and oversized Aftco roller tips. Rods from
six to 24 kilo feature slick butts, the 37-kilo standup an Aftco Unibutt
bent butt, and the 37 and 60-kilo heavy tackle chair rods Aftco bent butts.
The distinctive grey blanks are beautifully offset by black, gold and
silver bindings and trim.
