Spectrum Rod Additions

Three new additions to Shimano’s Spectrum Plus range of threadline, baitcaster and overhead rods are going to be of great interest to southern snapper specialists.

There are two overhead designs — a Medium and a Heavy for use with six to ten and eight to twelve kilo lines respectively — and a six to ten kilo threadline stick for Squidgy soft plastics.

All three are 6’ 6” in length, built on one piece blanks with extremely fast tapers, and have an incredible amount of guts in the bottom three quarters of the blank — just the feature necessary to pull big red out of the kelp or hold him clear of a line-cutting mussel bed.

Quality fittings have been used throughout, yet these rods are priced in such a way that anglers requiring a full quiver of snapper sticks will still be able to afford to buy bait!
