Shimano’s Sun Safe Clothing range has been specifically designed
to be light and comfortable to wear, while limiting the harmful effects
of the sun’s harshest rays.
Made from 100 per cent nylon with a 50+ UV Protection Factor (Australian
Radiation Laboratory UPF Rating), the shirts and trousers are designed
to keep your skin safe, while doing it in a fair degree of style!
First up, the long sleeve polo has a chest pocket, knitted collar and
bands, and a sleeve and pocket Shimano logo print, while the trousers
feature two hip pockets, drawstring elastic waistband and Shimano logo
on the thigh.
What’s more, the legs can be zipped off to turn them into a comfortable
pair of shorts.
The zip-off trousers and long-sleeve polo are shark skin (green/khaki)
in colour with contrasting collar and cuffs, and come in sizes S, M, L,
XL and XXL.
Finally, to make yourself completely sun-safe, Shimano’s new wide-brimmed
hat is made of polyester cotton and is available in sizes S, M, L, XL
and XXL.
It features an adjustable chin strap and an embroidered Shimano logo
on the front.
So, fully kitted out in your Shimano Sun Safe Clothing, just remember
to slap some sunscreen on exposed skin before venturing outside and you’ll
be set to enjoy a great day’s fi shing with an extremely high degree
of protection.

Shimano now has a range of clothing options that will keep you nice and
comfortable regardless of what Mother Nature throws up.

NEW FOR 2004
Shimano’s exciting new waterproof jacket features a non-sweat
liner, ventilated back, a concealed hood, three internal and three
outer pockets, an adjustable hem, printed Shimano logo across the
shoulders and an embroidered Shimano logo on the breast.
It is available in S, M, L, XL and XXL.

The 100 per cent polyester Polar fleece sleeveless zip-front vest
is great for those summer days when a southerly change rushes through,
or for adding another layer of insulation when worn under a spray
jacket during the cooler months.

Finally, Shimano’s ever-popular reversible jacket is back
again this season. It features the Shimano logo on the left breast,
a contrasting and reversible Polar fleece lining, chunky nylon zip,
contrast piping, covered zip pockets, adjustable cuffs, contrast

The jacket is available in traditional Shimano blue, and also beige
with a navy lining.
